From September 2007 Kinderland will be closed, for a major North Bay re-development.

The site will not be re-opening.

The Waterchute and Boating Lake are still open daily throughout the season. Access can be gained from the site of the North Bay Miniature Railway.

Kinderland was a unique and exciting world of good old-fashioned fun, adventure and excitement. It was situated in Scarborough's North bay, near to Peasholm Park boating lake, which is excellent family entertainment in Scarborough and only 5 minutes walk from Scarborough beach and within walking distance of the Scarborough Town Centre.

There are Sunday brass band concerts in the park Mini golf and putting green, lakeside café and refreshments.
